We privately connect drivers and passengers by matching routes and schedules using our best-in-class technology, to enable the sharing of the cost of pre-planned journeys.

No need to drive by yourself into a congested destination, or be cramped up in a bus, train or other public transport. Share the cost of the journey with others travelling enroute or to and from similar locations.

Since this is a cost sharing (not profit making) activity, anyone can drive, within the restrictions of their licence. Similarly, there is no requirement for any additional insurances, as this is a true peer-to-peer private arrangement between the driver and the passenger. Much like giving friends or family a lift, and splitting the cost.

The driver is able to set their schedule and also the rate that they would like to charge passengers. The passenger can choose their driver (this is not a random anonymous process) based on their profile and other parameters, and also accept or decline the rate being charged by the driver. This all occurs before the journey is committed and commenced.

As our drivers are already going your way, the pricing is in the "sweet-spot" close to public transport rates, but much less than standard "rideshare" and taxi pricing. To enable this, Wayyd does calculate suggested pricing for our drivers to adopt, loosely based on the local public transport rates.

Wayyd uses the same interface for both the driver and the passenger, so there is no need to download and maintain separate apps for both activities.
